UMPC and CES in Las Vegas
What most exciting moment this year is going to be … for UMPC. Two years ago, there was less than a handful of UMPC models out in the market. Despite all the critics and pessimistic words, UMPC is gaining moementum. This year, CES (Las Vegas) showcases more than 15 different models of UMPC. BBC foretells a rising of UMPC in this same year. And why wouldn’t it? UMPC certainly has spots that haven’t been filled in the market. UMPC is at its early stage. We’ve seen the first generation and its shortcomings (short battery life, too heavy, not enough wireless connectivity). UMPC is evolving and users are going to define the end form that best suited their needs.
